Organization

• There are 10 clinics each week at teaching hospitals in Vancouver.
  
• There are in-patient consultation services at Vancouver Hospital, UBC Hospital, Providence Hospitals, Children's Hospital and GF Strong Rehabilitation Institute.
  
• Academic staff are available 5 days a week for telephone consultations from physicians in BC and the western provinces, and 24/7 via cell phone.
  
• Associate members manage neuro-ophthalmic patients in their areas in consultation with academic staff. All members provide back-up call for each other during absence.
  
• The human vision and eye movement laboratory at the VGH Eye Care Center (J Barton) is focused on the study of cerebral disorders.
• Each research associate also has a laboratory with internationally known programs in ocular motor control and vision, which include access to functional MRI.
